Requirements: Bachelor's degree in environmental and or safety
discipline plus 3-5 years experience in coordinating safety/loss control/risk
management/environmental/occupational health activities and
compliance/recordkeeping in manufacturing setting.
Prefer specific experience with hazardous and non-hazardous waste, wastewater,
air permitting (Title V), chemical management, energy and resource management,
lockout tagout, confined space entry, hazard communication, respiratory
protection, hearing conservation, and forklift safety. Demonstrated ability to
interact with federal, state and local regulatory agencies and experience with
EPA and OSHA regulations and application in operations required. Experience in a
union environment a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and oversees prevention and E and S control activities at a candy
manufacturing facility. Analyzes E and S conditions and recommends changes to
continuously improve facility E and S performance. Develops and implements
processes and procedures to ensure facility compliance with company and
regulatory agency policies, including federal, state and local legislation and
regulations pertaining to worker safety and preservation of the environment.
Administers training programs for safety, accident prevention and protection,
and environmental management. Coordinates and participates in accident and
injury investigations, investigations of environmental 'upset' incidents and
recommends appropriate action. Prepares necessary reports. Maintains facility E
and S files, environmental permits, accident and training records, and updates
regulatory logs. Actively participates on corporate/divisional E and S teams

Requirements: BS Mechanical Engineering or related + 5 years plant
experience. Prefer broad experience with design and installation of filling,
sterilizing & packaging systems. Plastic and non-traditional packaging
experience along with an understanding of the design and operation of
hydrostatic, rotary & batch sterilizers a plus. Travel: up to 60%.
Responsibilities: Provide engineering management and technical expertise
for comprehensive installations of filling, sterilizer and packaging systems
from initial concept through detail design, installation, system commissioning,
and startup. These systems will generally be for soup/sauce type products in
steel cans, glass or plastic containers, both traditional and non-traditional
shapes
• AutoCAD literate
• Possess a thorough understanding and have direct experience in the design and
development of automated, modulated, high-speed conveyance and control systems
for filling and packaging glass, plastic and metal containers.
• Successful experience in the design of filling and packaging systems for
irregularly shaped, plastic (PET, polypropylene, HDPE, etc.) and flexible
containers (retortable and refrigerated pouches) a plus.

Requirements: BS Engineering field plus a minimum of 3 years
engineering experience in a food manufacturing facility. Must have strong
technical, managerial, and leadership skills as well as knowledge of hygienic
engineering. Must be familiar with broad spectrum of computer software packages
including MS Office, MS Project, Basic AutoCAD or Visio.
Responsibilities: Individual will be responsible for handling projects
involving relocation and optimization of existing fixed asset base and/or the
purchase and introduction of new fixed assets. Will coordinate other personnel
in achieving project objectives. Must be able to manage capital projects.
Projects will extend from the initial conceptual studies through to project
closeout.
Maintenance Supervisor R526
Toledo, OH
Requirements: BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering plus at
least 5 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor. Knowledge of electrical,
mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic trouble shooting. Blue print reading. 5 S,
Kaizan, machine reliability. Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervises and directs maintenance activities and assignments to all classes
of unionized mechanics and electricians assigned to equipment processes and new
installation projects.
2. Responsible for budget development, control of labor and material costs,
maintain equipment condition and reliability for areas of responsibility.
3. Responsible for maintaining adequate supply of spare parts and proper
selection and application of materials used in making repairs and installations.
4. Manages and directs the preventative maintenance activities. Monitors
inspection schedules and determines if changes are required.
