The Hastings Group is an executive search firm dedicated to technical positions in the food industry.  We handle positions in product development, research, sensory science, quality control, quality assurance, engineering, maintenance, and operations.  We’re looking for qualified food technologists, food scientists, formulators and food engineers with experience in bakery, confectionery, dessert, beverage, dairy, frozen food, mainmeal,  nutritional, nutraceutical, functional ingredients, cereal science, snacks, meat and poultry, fruits and vegetables. Areas of experience which are important  to our clients are canning, thermal  processing, UHT, high speed processing, high speed packaging, culinary science, extrusion, freezing, microwave technology, allergen control, food safety auditing, sanitation,  microbiology, process development, process improvement and process control.  Important certifications are HACCP, ISO and Food Safety.  We are looking for individuals who are hands-on as well as supervisors, managers, and directors.

Rather, we spend our time doing search and submitting qualified individuals for the positions our clients are actively trying to fill.

For Our Candidates, confidentiality is the number one concern. We operate in a manner that will not jeopardize your current job during the process of finding you a new one. We never tell anyone the names of other contacts or submit your resume anywhere without your permission. The decision to submit a candidate's resume to a client is the result of a discussion between a candidate and one of our recruiters. During that discussion, we will reveal to you everything we know about a position. Unless specifically requested by the client, we will tell you the name of the company and exactly where it is located. Our philosophy is that you, our candidates, are professionals and need all the facts in order to make professional decisions about your career. We will never mass-mail your resume to potential employers.

All fees are paid by our clients and all searches are done on a contingency basis. This means that, as a candidate, there is no expense to you.
