Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in dairy manufacturing engineering
and ten years' food manufacturing or related experience. Candidates must also
possess a strong attention to detail, a high level of tact and dependability,
strong communication skills, strong technical knowledge in dairy and cheese
making, the ability to read and create financial results (P&L), and knowledge of
computer software.
Responsibilities: Directly responsible for the financial results of the
facility and to provide leadership and direction for all aspects of production.
Daily responsibilities will focus on product quality, production yield, control
of expenses and effective use of staffing.

Shift Supervisor H925
Lexington, KY
Requirements: BS Engineering, Business or related plus at least 5
years experience in a food manufacturing environment as a supervisor.
Responsibilities: Responsible for all production operations on one shift.
• Training and developing production supervisors.
• HR policies, work rules, and general factory guidelines being administered
properly, consistently and fairly in all cases.
• Make sure that production supervisors conduct meaningful meetings and afford
his/her people to express themselves on pertinent problems.
• Coordinate and maintain team attitude among all departments/operations on the
shift.
• Insure sufficient planning in the areas of manpower requirements, production
scheduling and equipment limitations to meet plant productivity and training
requirements.
• Directing the production departments as necessary to achieve factory and
company goals. Identify and resolve employee problems through open one-on-one
discussions. Encourage open door policy to all as a means of resolving employee
problems.
• Labor, food, and packaging variances, as well as scrap control.
• Safety of people and conditions of all equipment. Attends a minimum of one
safety tour per month with the safety manager.
• Ensure effective start-ups and eliminate problem areas on lines that do not
make goal their first hour (averages). Identify and coordinate efforts towards
eliminating those deficiencies, (cost productivity, quality, etc.)
• Meets all government regulations concerning his/her operation. Ensures good
interface and compliance with USDA policies and procedures.

Maintenance Supervisor H921
Lexington, KY
Requirements: BS Degree plus previous experience in high speed food
production is required. Some previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Position requires the ability to make quick decisions and set proper priorities
to minimize downtime and keep a large production area up and running
efficiently. Must be willing to work in a wide variety of environments, work off
shifts, and work overtime.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the direct supervision
of a team of 10-15 mechanics in a high speed food production environment. Must
be vigilant in efforts to keep the team focused on working safely and
efficiently to properly support all production efforts. Specific
responsibilities include:
1. Supervise the maintenance of production equipment according to the
manufacturer's recommendations and experience with similar equipment
2. Proper utilization of maintenance personnel to ensure safe, effective, and
efficient operation of equipment
3. Review PM program and monitor schedules on existing equipment, as well as
assist in developing PM programs for new equipment
4. Coordinate parts and labor for assigned areas during any scheduled plant
shutdowns
5. Efficiently utilize all support groups to accomplish needed requirements
6. Maintain good human relation principles, communication skills, and quality
leadership with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
7. Maintain a sense of accountability with all subordinates for adherence to all
company guidelines, as well as personal performance
8. Document reoccurring equipment breakdowns and develop methods and programs to
help predict and prevent breakdowns
9. Drive a culture within your team that stresses personal safety, food safety,
and productivity.

Production Supervisor H937
Multiple Mid-west Locations
Requirements: B.S. Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business
Administration plus at least three years food manufacturing experience,
preferably in a high-speed operation.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Production
Supervisor is responsible for the overall coordination of combining raw
materials, people and machinery towards the achievement of producing quality
product within the time and cost guidelines on a daily basis.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Train, evaluate, and discipline team members as necessary.
• Ensuring that team leader and associates understand and follow quality
parameters, procedures and policies to include HACCP, NQS, SSOP, FTQ
• Takes every reasonable and positive action to meet productivity goals daily
• Insure that GMP's are followed by all associates.
• Set agenda, conduct and publish notes on bi-weekly line meeting that allow
constructive two-way communications.
• Ensure that safety rules and procedures are followed on daily basis and the
safety representative is actively involved in line meetings, safety tours, and
daily limit switch checks.
• Keeps area staffed with proper number of qualified personnel while evaluating
where tasks can be combined or altered to reduce labor requirements.
• Beware of and react to opportunities to save water, electricity and other
resources.
