Requirements: BS degree required. Must have at least 2 years
experience as a production supervisor/team facilitator, preferably in a union
environment. Experience should include exposure to GMPs, familiarity with
high-speed packaging equipment and knowledge of sanitation procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing direction and support to a production team; ensuring
the team abides by all safety and quality standards, leading and executing plant
initiatives, and taking ownership of driving Continuous Improvement (CI) tools.
Must develop and lead people and ensure achievement of plant objectives.
• Support Future Manufacturing (FM) initiatives by helping the team to develop
objectives that are aligned with FM goals.
• Monitor associate progress and provide regular feedback. Conduct yearly
evaluations with associates in order to help set goals pertinent to their
development.
• Facilitate After-Action Reviews to gain input and brainstorm ideas for
improvement.
• Responsible for the overall coordination of production activities in assigned
areas.
• Ensure that all production paperwork is completed on a timely basis;
including, but not limited to Kronos and efficiency reports.
• Ensure company policies, quality procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
are understood and followed by associates including: HR policies; company goals
and objectives; and quality standards.
• Perform daily and weekly planning to ensure that the scheduling of
ingredients, personnel and products are utilized in the most cost effective
manner.

Toledo, OH
Requirements: BS /BA + up to 7 yrs experience. Supervision in a Food
plant with thermal processing and USDA inspection preferred.
Responsibilities: Need supervisors for their manufacturing plant, for all
shifts. These candidates will be on a fast track to move up in the operations
department of the Fortune 100 company. They need to have worked in a food
manufacturing company for 2 to 7 years plus some supervision. Knowledge of HACCP,
sanitation, USDA requirements and GMP’s will be utilized in training new hires.
Will work with Quality Assurance Dept. to implement new practices and production
procedures. Familiarization with thermal processing of fruit juice and
vegetables, canning or jar packing would be helpful. This is a union plant.

Seattle, WA
Requirements: BS Mechanical Engineering or related + 5 years plant
experience. Prefer broad experience with design and installation of filling,
sterilizing & packaging systems. Plastic and non-traditional packaging
experience along with an understanding of the design and operation of
hydrostatic, rotary & batch sterilizers a plus. Travel: up to 60%.
Responsibilities: Provide engineering management and technical expertise
for comprehensive installations of filling, sterilizer and packaging systems
from initial concept through detail design, installation, system commissioning,
and startup. These systems will generally be for soup/sauce type products in
steel cans, glass or plastic containers, both traditional and non-traditional
shapes
• AutoCAD literate
• Possess a thorough understanding and have direct experience in the design and
development of automated, modulated, high-speed conveyance and control systems
for filling and packaging glass, plastic and metal containers.
• Successful experience in the design of filling and packaging systems for
irregularly shaped, plastic (PET, polypropylene, HDPE, etc.) and flexible
containers (retortable and refrigerated pouches) a plus.

Requirements: BA in Business or related + 7 years plant experience, 5
years supervisory in food operations, Forklift certifiable
Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the efficient manufacturing and
continuous improvement of all products and processes, ensuring that product
quality, employee safety, and food safety standards, as well as regulatory
requirements, are met or exceeded.
2. Manages employees to optimize productivity, supports good manufacturing
practices including the proper use of equipment and materials, promotes training
and development, minimizes turnover, and ensures a reliable and agile labor
force. Achievement of labor budget and turnover metrics.
3. Executes the production schedule developed by the Master Scheduler to support
the highest levels of customer service and production efficiency. Ensures case
fill and order fill metrics are exceeded or met. Provides feedback and input to
support schedule adherence.
4. Responsible to monitor and manage production costs associated with yield
optimization; prep, production, and packaging waste, supply costs, and
utilities.
5. Responsible for the reporting of finished goods and inventory accuracy.

Cleveland, OH
Requirements: BS Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related plus at
least 2 years experience in a food production environment. Experience can be in
operations, quality assurance or sanitation. Must have effective verbal and
written communication skills and leadership skills as well as being proficient
with basic computer software. Should have some exposure to USDA or FDA, SSOPs
and HACCP. Individual must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift.
Responsibilities: Individual will direct up to 50 employees in prep
processing, and packaging in compliance with personnel and food safety
regulations. Will be responsible for ensuring that company policies, quality
procedures and GMPs are understood and followed. Will provide coaching,
performance feedback, training and development for direct reports.
